葛根湯（かっこんとう）の作用

風邪の初期(体力中等度以上の人)、鼻風邪、鼻炎、頭痛、肩こり、筋肉痛、ての痛み、肩の痛み。

根湯（かっこんとう）の注意

虚弱体質の人、胃腸の弱い人、発汗傾向の1点等は悪心、胃部不快感などの副作用が現れやすい。

副作用として、かゆみ、発疹、発赤、不眠、発汗過多、動悸、頻脈、興奮、排尿障害、食欲不振、胃部不快感、悪心、嘔吐など。

重篤な副作用として、肝機能障害、偽アルドステロン症を生じる。

構成生薬としてカンゾウ、マオウ。
